It’s Spring-Cleaning time. The Bent Tree HOA Board would like to remind everyone that now is the best time to do some clean-up on your yards, homes and driveways/walkways.
If the following items need attention on your property, they should be addressed soon to avoid receiving a violation letter from our management company, Premier:
Pressure washing driveways, sidewalks, swales and aprons;
Cleaning or pressure washing the sides of your house including gutters and soffits;
Cleaning or pressure washing fences and garage doors;
Lawns should be in good shape and kept mowed. Re-sodding may be necessary;
Shrubs and bushes cannot be over 6 feet tall – please trim them to, or below, this height;
Edge along sidewalks/driveways/street so grass is not growing over or out of your yard area;
Remove weeds from flower/mulch/rock beds;
Trim trees: If you have a tree with branches over the street and sidewalk - they must be trimmed to be 15 feet above the street to allow trash trucks and emergency vehicle clearance. Tree limbs over your yard should have a 12-foot clearance under them. Please remove branches covering the streetlights.
Premier will be monitoring our neighborhood for compliance with these responsibilities beginning June 1st. Please make sure to have these items addressed by then to avoid a possible violation letter.
During your clean-up, please remember that yard waste must be in paper bags or small bundles left at the curb for them to be picked up on Wednesdays. Waste Pro will not pick up plastic bags.
If your cleaning efforts include inside your home or your garage and produce large items that need to be removed, please call Waste Pro (407-774-0800, Option 1) to schedule a Wednesday pick-up or find out where the items can be disposed of.
These are all items that will be looked out for by the management company as they inspect yards in the coming months. The Bent Tree HOA Board thanks you for your assistance in keeping our community looking great.
